Is there an accounting service which could help prepare my company for an IRS audited?

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

I work for a company with a boys scout for a boss. He wants us to find an outside service which would comb through our books to spot any areas which might be questioned during an IRS audit. Is there such a service?

Attorney Jobs — The Field with a Steady Growth

Monday, November 15th, 2010

An attorney is a legally qualified person who prosecutes and defends actions on behalf of a client. In the world of today, attorney lawyer jobs are going to be available till the human race exists. The attorney files legal pleadings and argues cases in state courts, provides advice to clients, and drafts legal documents. Attorneys brief a court on all the issues of the case in writing before orally arguing the cases. Extensive research needs to be performed to find relevant facts and law, before legal papers are drafted, and preparations are made for oral arguments.

Attorney lawyer jobs are of classified into various levels — entry-level, mid-level, and senior-level. Attorney jobs are further classified into various categories based on the specializations like competition law, bankruptcy, corporate, criminal law, family law, environmental law, immigration law, intellectual property law, litigation, public interest law, real estate law, tax law, etc. Attorney jobs are available in law firms, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and corporations and usually provide a source of regular salary.

The candidates should have a J.D. degree from a law school accredited by the ABA. The attorneys then study and qualify for a Master’s degree (LL.M.). After receiving extensive education, the Bar examination needs to be passed to become licensed to practice law. The attorneys then specialize in different areas of law, based on personal interests, such as criminal law, real estate law, immigration law, business law and many other areas. At least 7 years of education is required to become an attorney. Courses in computer science, economics, foreign languages, government, history, mathematics, etc. are useful.

Attorney lawyer jobs are expected to grow about 12% annually. The median annual wage of a wage-and-salaried lawyer is $110,590. The median annual wage ranges from $78,540 to $145,770. The main benefit of becoming an attorney is the big pay one gets to earn. Many attorneys working in private sectors earn in the six figures.
